Going In-House
Going In-House
About Me
Hi, I'm Staci VanderPol, the founder of Going In-House. After nearly a decade of working as in-house counsel, I saw a gap in career guidance for those looking to transition into corporate counsel roles. Throughout my career, I’ve navigated the challenges of going in-house and have mentored countless attorneys and law students along the way. I created Going In-House to offer practical, actionable coaching that helps legal professionals confidently enter and thrive in the in-house job market.

My approach is rooted in real-world experience, both as an attorney and as a recruiter, giving me a unique perspective on what hiring teams are looking for and how candidates can stand out. I understand the complexities, tailoring your resume for corporate roles, preparing for interviews with business leaders instead of just legal teams, and developing effective job search strategies.

Through one-on-one coaching sessions, I help clients gain clarity, build confidence, and create targeted approaches to their job searches. Whether you're a law student seeking your first in-house role or a practicing attorney ready for a career shift, I’m here to support you every step of the way.

Outside of my professional work, I’m a mom of four, balancing a busy family life with my passion for helping others grow their careers. I know firsthand how important it is to find a role that aligns with both your professional goals and personal values.

I'm here to help take your legal career in-house with confidence and purpose.
